Hearing Loss - How can you tell?

How can you tell if someone near you has a hearing loss? Often hearing loss develops slowly and subtly. Our own built-in defences may make i difficult for us to determine whether we are suffering hearing loss. A simple hearing test would of course address the question but in the meantime St. John's Hearing Aid Services has devised a special unique check list to help you find the answer to that question.

1.	Do you regularly have to turn up the volume on the radio and television which others on the room find too loud?
2.	Do you feel that all people around you tend to mumble all the time?
3.	Do you find it difficult to hear speakers voices in the cinema, in the theatre or in church?
4.	Do you find it difficult to hear the phone ringing in the next room or to hear the door bell ring?
